Tachetastic Music Guide

Tim Buckley
Rare Moustached 'Happy Sad'

I am the owner of a mighty fine fake moustached record collection. If you're looking for some music ideas then hopefully you'll find this music guide useful.

Firstly, I should say that its possible to instantly obtain a fake moustached record collection simply by drawing a fake pen moustaches on all your album cover photos. I have used this technique to great effect, both on my own collection and that of my father. Indeed, my father was so moved by this act that he subsequently spent days in tears. Oh yes! There's a sensitive side to the Tacheman (ladies, take note).

Below are a couple of my favourite moustached albums by the kids Walker and Buckley:

My musical tastes are somewhat eclectic, ranging from folk, to indie, rock, cheese, golden oldies and world music. I'm not a huge fan of dance music, so if you like smoking them ecstacies then you may wish to look elsewhere.

Some of the reviews here have been written by the G man, G5. So called because his name is Gareth and I decided it would sound better if I added a random number after it. Anyway, G5 likes the music and writes very good reviews so I'm going to endeavour to get him to write some more stuff.

If you're looking for some more straight forward, non moustched music links, I recommend the All music Guide, the obvious and the cool beats in NME. Thinking about it, NME is probably the best bet.

I've included Amazon links if you are interested in buying any of the albums reviewed, they're usually amongst the cheapest around. If you're looking for some pretty goon non moustached reviews then check out the BBC Music Reviews.
